Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Simeon. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Simeon (the "Service"), operated by Fait Maison LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Simeon, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Simeon is a revenue aggregation dashboard that connects to third-party payment and commerce providers (such as Stripe, Polar, Shopify, and others you choose to connect) to display your transaction data in a single dashboard. Simeon does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a payment processor. We only request read-only access to your connected accounts.

2. Accounts

Simeon does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a payment processor. We only request read-only access to your connected accounts.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Simeon offers paid subscription plans (Starter and Pro), billed monthly or annually through our payment partner, Polar. New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial; no credit card is required to start a trial where offered.

By subscribing, you authorize us (via Polar) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Prices are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. Connected Providers

When you connect a third-party provider (e.g., Stripe, Shopify, PayPal) to Simeon, you authorize us to retrieve transaction data from that provider using the credentials or tokens you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to grant this access. We only request read-only permissions and never initiate payments, refunds, or transfers on your behalf.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or continued operation of any third-party provider's API. If a provider changes or restricts its API, some functionality may be affected.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of your data. We collect and store the minimum data necessary to operate Simeon, including your email address, encrypted API credentials, and transaction data synced from your connected providers.

All API keys and access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are never exposed to the client side. We do not sell your data to third parties.

You may export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our systems, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.

6. Acceptable Use

Use Simeon for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Simeon's systems or other users' data

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law

  • Use automated means to scrape or extract data from Simeon beyond normal use

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to Simeon without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. AI Features

Simeon includes an AI-powered assistant to help you connect providers, powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Messages sent to this assistant may be processed by Anthropic in accordance with their terms. Usage is rate-limited to prevent abuse.

8. Disclaimers

Simeon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all financial data displayed will be perfectly accurate at all times — Simeon reflects data as reported by connected third-party providers, and discrepancies may occur due to provider-side issues, sync delays, or API changes.

Fee calculations shown in Simeon are estimates based on each provider's standard published rates. Actual fees charged by a provider may vary depending on your account type, country, payment method, or negotiated rates. Simeon is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fait Maison LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Simeon, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Simeon shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Simeon and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of Simeon after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict of law principles.
